Make paying for your healthcare easier and more affordable, by spreading out the cost with our health cash plan. All you do is pay a monthly premium, and then every time you go to the dentist, opticians or physio (plus much more), you send us a receipt and we pay you back.*
We can help you budget for unexpected costs so you don’t need to worry if something crops up – you’ll be able to claim all or part of the money back.
Our health cash plan covers you for dental, optical and a range of therapies. You can also claim back if you have a baby or for overnight stays in hospital, plus much more.
Prices start from just £10.00 per month** and you’ll have an annual limit for each service. All benefits are 100% reimbursement up to your benefit limit.
You just need to be aged 16 or over when you apply and be a resident of the UK to have a health cash plan with us. Your monthly payments will be made via direct debit. Personal policies cover the policyholder and up to 5 children. Family policies cover the policyholder, partner and up to 5 children.

Healthy Choices Health Cash Plan
There’s four levels of cover to choose from: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Have a look at the table below to decide which level of cover is right for you. Remember, the higher the level of cover, the more benefits you can claim.
Personal policies cover policyholder and up to 5 children. Family policies cover the policyholder, partner and up to 5 dependent children below 18 years of age. Where benefit is provided for children, it’s limited to one times the maximum amount shown, shared among all insured children. All insured persons must permanently reside at the same address.
Benefits are paid at 100% of the receipt value up to the maximum benefit every benefit year, unless otherwise stated. Payment is taken via monthly direct debit. All you do is pay your bill and then give us a copy of the receipt (subject to policy terms) and we’ll reimburse you up to the maximum limit.

The plan pays you cash towards your everyday healthcare costs, such as dental check-ups and treatment, eyesight tests, new glasses and contact lenses, diagnostic health consultations and therapy treatments, plus many more benefits.
No, private medical insurance pays for treatment and operations performed privately. A health cash plan is a healthcare plan which complements the NHS by reimbursing bills for everyday healthcare treatments and also paying lump sum payments for hospital in-patient stays and day case surgery.
Applications are accepted from anyone aged 16 or over at the time of application who reside in the UK. Up to 5 children can be covered on a policy until their 18th birthday.
You will be sent a welcome pack containing your policy and full information.
You will be eligible to claim 13 weeks from the start date shown on your policy with the exception of maternity/paternity benefit, which carries a 10 month qualifying period.
You will not be able to make hospital-related claims which are connected to that problem for two years. However, you will be covered for all other benefits and hospital claims if they are not related.
Yes. Simply pay your bill, complete your claim form and send it to BHSF with the original receipt, and subject to policy terms we will reimburse you up to your maximum benefit limit. Benefits are paid directly to you by credit transfer to your bank account.
Yes. You should review your cover periodically to ensure it remains adequate. If you wish to do so, you can apply to upgrade your level of cover.
